Pillow Pets-Got one for my daughter last Christmas and she loves it

The deal on Pillow Pets is back again. I posted this a few days ago and many styles are out of stock now but there is still a lot to choose from.

You can either:

Go through where the Pillow Pets are $19.99- Buy One Get One Free ! If you only need one pillow pet this year, that second one would make a great donation to Toys 4 Tots!  Shipping is $6 unless you have a Target redcard and then it is free.

*Make sure to look for the 18 inch pets and look for the ones that say Buy One Get One Free directly under the image.  You will need to scroll down to see the ones mostly in stock.

You can also check Amazon here for more deals.  They have single Pillow Pets starting at $10 and shipping is free with a $25 order.

Just make sure to look for 18in size.

Thanks My Frugal Adventures

Rockabye Chairs-I’d love to get one for my kids but $65 is still a little too steep for me

Oh I know some of you Mom’s are going to be super excited about this one!  Through tomorrow at 6pm PST you can snag FREE shipping on everything at Totsy!  Just enter code TGIVING at checkout.  I see a bunch of great sales, but my favorite are the Rockabye rockers.  I’ve heard other people rave about the quality and duration of these rockers – it also helps that they are absolutely adorable!  They normally retail for $139.99, but Totsy has them for $65.
Last time they had these guys they sold out super fast, so be sure to head on over here to check them out before the selection gets picked over!
(Thanks Mommy Savers!)

Step 2 Kitchen Set-We’ve had ours for about 2 years and the kids still love it

I just love these little kitchen sets – aren’t they cute?  I mentioned yesterday that I thought Kohl’s had a pretty great deal on this set, but it looks like Walmart has bested them yet again!  For just $59.54 you can have this adorable set shipped right to your front door step.  Even better, pay about an extra $10 and you could score this kitchen plus 101 pieces of play food for just $69 shipped.  That seems like an excellent deal, especially when you consider Amazon has it listed for $84.90 without the addition of the play food.
Head on over here and enter “Step2 Lifestyle Fresh Accents Kitchen” in to the search bar to find these two sets fast.

(Thanks The Thrifty Couple!)

Target Kid’s Bedding 75% Off

Filed under: Savings — by dsuzuki @ 8:52 pm

So I had to report for Jury Duty selection today which sucked because it meant I missed my daughter’s picture taking day at school.  On the plus side though during the lunch break I went over to Target and the bedding I’ve been eyeing for my daughter finally went 75% off.  The only problem was there were so many cute options I couldn’t decide on which one to get.  So I went and bought all the ones I liked and let Kaitlyn picked the 2 she liked and my mom ending up wanting one for herself and one for my niece.  I also picked one up for a friend so it all worked out in the end.  I highly suggest you go check it out if you need some children’s bedding.  Here are the ones I picked up.  I’ll be returning a few tomorrow but still wanted to show them since they were so cute.

There were several other bedding sets and sheets on clearance too.  So you should check out your own store’s selection.

One thing I did find that kind of sucked was that Kaitlyn has a full size bed and the full size stuff costs more than the twin size bedding 😦

One of the ones she did keep was this quilt for $12.48

This was the other ones she chose to keep.  It was also $12.48

This one is for my niece. It was another quilt for $12.48

I can’t find the exact one I got for my friend on the Target site but it looked something like this and was only $8.74.

This quilt was $16.24

This one was also $16.24. I thought it was adorable!

This one was a 7 piece set so a little pricier at $17.48 but it wasn’t one of the ones Kaitlyn wanted to keep so back it goes.

I’ll be returning this bedskirt that was $4.74 since she didn’t pick the comforter that it went with.

I can’t find the other 2 comforters but they were only $11.24 but I will be returning one and the other one my mom kept.

I’ll also be returning this Disney Princess Fur Blanket that was $3.74.

If you need shower hooks these were just $2.48

They also had several different decorative wall decals like this one for $3.24

Cheap Toy Story 3 Operation & Monopoly Deal Games!

Filed under: Savings — by dsuzuki @ 10:57 pm

If you live near a Big Lots and a Walmart or Target you can score some really great deals on the Toy Story 3 Operation and Monopoly Deal games.  Big Lots has the Toy Story 3 Operation game on sale for $5.  They don’t accept coupons but you can take the ad in and price match it at Walmart or Target plus use the $4/1 Operation game coupon that was in the Sunday paper a few weeks ago or the printable coupon here.

I did this at Target and was surprised that they gave me no problems about doing the price match at customer service.  While there I also picked up the Monopoly Deal game because my nephew loved playing it with his uncle so I thought he might like his own set.  Target has it for $5.24 and there is also a $4/1 coupon that works on it.  Woohoo!

So if you know of anyone who enjoys these games it’s a great time to go pick one up as a gift.

Diaper Deals for Week of 9/18/11

Filed under: Savings — by dsuzuki @ 11:13 pm

So normally I prefer to just shop at CVS and Target but there are two awesome diaper deals going on starting tomorrow and since I’m switching my son over from Pampers to Huggies I think I may switch things up this week and hit CVS and Rite Aid instead.  Hoping they have enough diapers in stock since it sounds like everyone is planning on doing these deals this week.

Here’s the plan:

Rite Aid

This week’s deal is you will receive a $10.00 UPR wyb $30.00. You will receive a $10.00 UPR wyb $50 and you wil receive a $20 UPR wyb $70. Limit 1 deal per household.

My Plan:

Transaction #1
Buy (3) Huggies Diapers $29.97
Buy (1) Kleenex $2.00
Total $31.97
use (3) $2.00/1 Huggies Diapers (there are $1.50/1 coupons in the 9/11 SS if you need coupons)
use (1) $1.00/1 Huggies Video Values
use (1) $1.00 non-prescription purchase Video Values
use $10 UPs I had from last week’s Tylenol Precise money maker deal

Total $13.97 OOP (out of pocket)
Get a $10.00 UPR
Transaction #2
Buy (2) Huggies Diapers $19.98
use (2) $2.00/1 Huggies Diapers
Total $15.98
use $10.00 UPR from first transaction
Pay $5.98
Get $10.00 UPR (overall total $51.95)
Transaction #3
Buy (2) Huggies Diapers $19.98
use (2) $2.oo/1 Huggies Diapers
Total $15.98
use $10.00 UPR from second transaction
Pay $5.98
Get $20.00 UPR (overal total 71.93)
Total OOP should be $25.93 which works out to $3.70/pack plus another $20 of UPs I can spend on something else.  Granted this means I have to make another trip to Rite Aid or find something else to spend it on this week but seeing as Rite Aid is 5 minutes away I can deal with that for cheap Huggies.
CVS Diaper Deal

When you spend $25 on select items you will snag a $10 ECB back. Huggies, Luvs and Pampers are all included in this sale.  Limit 1 deal per household. I have to take my mom to CVS to pick up her prescription so technically this isn’t really an unnecessary second stop.

My Plan:

Buy 3 Huggies Jumbo Packs $9 ea
Use (3) $3/1 Huggies slip on coupons from 9/11 SS
Use (1) $2.50/1 Huggies CVS coupon I got in the mail today. Yay!
Use (1) $4/$20 purchase CVS coupon
Use $10 ECBs I had from the Air Wick Money Maker deal

Pay: $1.50 OOP, Get back $10 ECB
= $.50 per package plus $10 ECB to spend later

If they have more of the Dawn that was on sale last week I also plan on using my rain check to pick up a few of those.  They were on sale for $.99 and I have 2 $1/1 coupons and a bunch of $.75/1 coupons.  My mom insists Dawn is the only dish detergent to use so want to stock up for while she’s here.
